Mission

This organization has recently been established to raise funds for the rejuvenation, enhancement and maintenance of Veterans Memorial Park at Academy Place in Orleans MA.

Funds raised will address the relocation and refurbishment of existing stone memorials and creation of new ones that honor Orleans Veterans, as well as Park-wide improvements that will pay tribute to any Veteran who served that a Donor would like to recognize or name. This could be a family member, friend or general acknowledgement for any theatre including more recent Global Wars on Terror. Funds may be solicited from organizations, individuals, government bodies and grants for all such purposes.

Enhancements planned include the design and installation of new pathways, improved accessibility, new landscaping to include memorial gardens and reflective spaces where families, friends and citizens can gather, rest and honor those who have served.

This tax-exempt 501(c)(3) public charity also seeks funds toward fulfilling its mission to award academic scholarships for Veterans and Veteran family members, as well as to promote events which educate the public, and raise awareness of military service. This includes working with Veterans groups in support of functions and observances.
